Pure Scooters spent a fantastic day with the team at Channel 5’s The Gadget Show last month.
We loaned the popular tech show four of our electric scooters for a shoot in Stratford-Upon-Avon that aired Friday 14th June 2019.
The storyline revolved around presenter Ortis Deeley battling it out with a tour operator: would new tech and gadgets come up trumps over the more traditional methods favoured by the guide?
Our Xiaomi M365s and Xiaomi M365 Pro were used by the group to get around the beautiful town as they took in the different historical sites connected to William Shakespeare.
Despite being a fun and eco-friendly mode of transport in cities around the world, electric scooters are not currently legal to use on public paths and roads in this country.
But the production team worked closely with the local council to get the green light to use them safely on the public footpaths for the day.
The fab segment not only highlighted how great scooters are for travel over short distances, but gave a glimpse of how seamlessly they could fit into everyday life when the law is finally changed in the UK.
In fact, Ortis loved them so much, he couldn’t wait to get one of his own – which we were only too happy to provide!
